Climate Change Adaptation
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Climate change and ecological crises are also questions of social relations, political choices and unequal exposure. Adaptation depends on how risks are defined, whose knowledge informs decisions, how resources are allocated and whether communities can shape responses that affect them.
My work brings climate ethics, social ecology and critical political theory into discussion with environmental governance. It examines approaches that connect ecological change with justice and recognition, rather than treating adaptation as a purely technical task.
Research can link climate evidence to institutions and lived experience: assess the ecological systems involved, trace decisions across levels of governance and examine how benefits and burdens are distributed. This helps identify when responses reduce vulnerability and when they reproduce inequality.
