Imagination & Utopia
Political imagination, possible futures and transformation in world politics.
Political imagination helps people make sense of political realities and envision alternatives. It connects abstract concepts with shared practices through which social and political arrangements are understood and reproduced.
My work asks how imagination shapes international relations and how utopian thought can make assumptions about political order visible. Looking towards alternatives does not mean assuming that better futures will arrive automatically; it helps clarify values, exclusions and possibilities for collective change.
This research sits alongside broader work on social transformation, critical theory and world politics. It asks how ideas of the possible interact with existing institutions, material conditions and political agency.
